APAR status

Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Enabling listener and JSON publish for publish channel
    'MXGLTXNInterface', results in iface#jsonnotsupported exception
    when saving record via 'Receiving' application.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    (1) Select 'MXGLTXNInterface' publish channel and tick 'publish
    JSON' checkbox.
    
    (2) Under 'Processing Rules' section, disable existing rule
    'SKIPGL'.
    
    (3) Under 'Processing Rules' section, add a new rule with
    action 'SET'. Then click 'Set Sub-Record Fields' button to
    update field 'Description' with value 'updated by rules'.
    
    (4) Enable rule created in step(3) and also enable Event
    Listener for 'MXGLTXNInterface' publish channel.
    
    (5) Enable corresponding External System.
    
    (6) Go to 'Logging' application, filter 'integration' logger
    and update the logger level to 'DEBUG'. Save the change and
    click 'Apply Settings'.
    
    (7) Go to 'Receiving' application, find any PO with 'APPR'
    status, then click 'select ordered items' to receive the item.
    
    RESULTS:
    Once click SAVE button, below error dialog appears and same
    error message reported in log file.
    
    BMXAA4160E - A major exception has occurred. Check the system
    log to see if there are any companion errors logged. Report
    this error to your system administrator.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    No error appears on UI or in the log file. JSON Message has
    been successfully sent to external system.
    
    REPORTED IN VERSION:
    IBM TPAE Integration Framework 7.6.1.1
