APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • DESCRIPTION:
    If all Assignments and Tasks are updated to COMPLETE, and when
    the Assignment's End Time is greater than the current time, but
    within the Future Labor Transaction Tolerance Hours setting, an
    error message appears on Assignment Completion and the Work
    Order status does not update to COMPLETE as expected.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    -Log in to maxdemo instance
    -Go To Administration | Organizations
    -In the Organization field enter "eaglena" and press Enter
    -Click EAGLENA to open the record
    -More Actions | Labor Options
    -In the Future Labor Transaction Tolerance in Hours field enter
    1:00
    -Click OK
    -Save the record
    -Log out
    -Log back in
    -Go To Work Orders | Work Order Tracking
    -Common Actions | New Work Order
    -In the Location field enter "br200" and tab out
    -On the Plans tab | Tasks section | click the New Row button
    -In the Task 10 Description field enter "Task One"
    -In the Estimated Duration field enter 1:00
    -On the Labor tab click the Select Craft button
    -Click the checkbox for ELECT FIRSTCLASS, then click OK
    -Save the record
    -Common Actions | Approve Work Order
    -Click OK
    -On the Assignments tab | Labor field | Detail Menu | Select
    Value
    -Click any record where Craft is ELECT and Skill Level is
    FIRSTCLASS
    -Save the record
    -On the Actuals tab | Labor tab | click the Select Planned
    Labor button
    -Click the checkbox for the row and click OK
    -In the Start Time field click the Select Date and Time button
    -Click the time that is close to the current time
    -In the End Time field click the Select Date and Time button
    -Click the time that is approximately 45 minutes ahead of the
    current time (within the Future Labor Transaction Tolerance
    Hours setting)
    -Click OK
    *The Assignment Status does not get updated
    -Save the record
    -Click the Complete Assignments button
    *System Message appears:
    BMXAA4593E - Could not change Work Order 1932 to COMP.
    BMXAA4494E - The date for an actual must be in the past.
    Specify a past date or wait until date has past to continue.
    -Click OK
    -Save the record
    RESULTS:
    The Assignment Status gets updated to COMPLETE, but the Work
    Order status does not get updated to COMPLETE
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    The Assignment Status will update to COMPLETE without error,
    and the Work Order Status will update to COMPLETE when the
    Assignment (or all Assignments) gets updated to COMPLETE
