APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Adobe Acrobat 2017 and Adobe Acrobat 2017 Pro are not being
    properly identified.
    New signatuer(s) required.
    The problem is not that Adobe Acrobat 2017 is showing up as
    Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2017.
    It is the problem that Adobe Acrobat 2017 discovery is not
    working at all. However, since Adobe Acrobat DC 2017 contains
    Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2017, it may look like its discovered
    instead of Adobe Acrobat 2017.
    The fix will be to correct signature for Adobe Acrobat 2017 and
    as a result, customer will see both products discovered.
    
    For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC all versions should already work
    correctly.
    Adobe Acrobat 2017 will be shown as Adobe Acrobat (Pro or Std)
    DC 2017, we do differentiate between Pro and Std.
