  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Error Message: The JVM may crash or assert after the JVMTI
ForceEarlyReturn feature is used.

Stack Trace: N/A
.

Local fix

  • The issue only occurs if the JIT is on, so adding -Xint to the
command line will circumvent the issue.

Problem summary

  • JVM internal structures were not being kept properly up-to-date
after ForceEarlyReturn executes.

Problem conclusion

  • The JVM has been updated to no longer crash in this case.
