APAR status

Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    Rotating Item Direct Issue - Work Order Actuals Rotating
    Asset field not populated
    
    STEPS TO REPLICATE:
    1-Go to Master Item select PUMP100.
    2-Mark the checkbox  Attach to Parent Asset on Issue.
    3-Save the record.
    
    4-Go to Work order Tracking application, Create a new one.
    - Add Location
     -Add Asset
     -Add Work Type
     - Add Target Start
    5-Go to Tab Plans. / Materials, Insert a new row.
       -Item PUMP100
       -Check box for Direct Issue?
       -Add GL Account
       -Save Work Order.
      -Approve Work Order.
    6-Go to Inventory Application, select PUMP100.
      -Go to More Action / Reorder / Reorder Direct Issue Itms/Svcs.
      -PR created.
    7-Go to PR, Select PR created, go to More Actions / Create PO.
     -PO created
     -Approve PO
    8-Go to Receiving.
    9-Select PO created, in Material Receipts tab Select Ordered
    Items
      -Save
    10-Change Inspection Status if necessary
    11-Receive Rotating Items / Autonumber /Ok.
    12-Save
    13-Back to Workorder, Select  related work order
    - Go to Actuals tab
    - Under the charge information on the item, the rotating asset
    field is
    NULL
    Expected result:
    The rotating asset field is populated with new assetnum created
    in
    receiving process.
