Error description
There are several problems that cause the RECEIVE and APPLY jobs for TWSz 8.3.0 to fail. These can be corrected as follows: (1) For an E37 abend on HWSZ300.F3 file, increase the DSSPACE parameter from the value recommended in the PROGRAM DIRECTORY to a larger value (500,500,400). The F3 RELFILE for HWSZ300 is about 6800 tracks and the largest file that can be allocated with a primary and secondary allocation of 400 tracks is 6400 tracks. DSSPACE is in the OPTIONs specifications. The major portion of the additional space is occupied by SEQQMISC/AEQQMISC member EQQTEP, which is part of the new TWSz 8.3 TEP integration To change the value the following needs to be run: //SMPCNTL DD * SET BOUNDARY(GLOBAL) . ENDUCL . After making this change the RECEIVE job EQQRECVE should run OK. (2) Some of the target and DLIB zone libraries are larger for 8.3.0 than for 8.2.0. If the EQQALLOC member that is supplied with the 8.3 install is used, some libraries will have insufficient directory blocks and/or insufficient primary or secondary allocations. This will result in messages similar to the following one during the APPLY job (EQQAPPLE) or ACCEPT job (EQQACPTE): GIM40901E ** COPY PROCESSING TO THE SEQQCLIB LIBRARY FAILED FOR CLIST EQQATERM IN SYSMOD HWSZ300.
