APAR status

Error description

  • JES2 disastrous error at symbol CBIMPL4 or PRGTGAE have been
reported in installations running TM V4R1.1 at PTF level
TMT4108 or below and JES2 5.1 with IBM PTF UW14953 installed.
The error occurs in this environment if a COMPLEX WIDE
WARMSTART is performed with TM HELD jobs on the execution
queue at the time of the warmstart.
Installation that are runnign TM at this level (PTF TMT4108)
and are currently running JES2 5.1 or are condsidering
upgrading to JES2 5.1 should contact MVS SOLUTIONS for specific
instructions as to how to circumvent this problem.
Installations that have upgraded TM beyond PTF TMT4108 prior
to installing JES2 5.1 will not encounter this problem.
