Error description
When multiple WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition (FTE) configurations are defined in the WebSphere MQ Explorer FTE plug-in, switching between them can cause delays before all FTE agents associated with that configuration are listed in the MQ Explorer - Content pane. For example, consider the situation where there are two FTE configurations defined in the WebSphere MQ Explorer FTE plug-in with names "QM1" and "QM2". Each configuration has three distinct agent associated with it, "AGENT1", "AGENT2" and "AGENT3". When steps similar to those listed below are followed, not all agents are displayed: 1) Connect to configuration "QM1". 2) Click on "Agents" 3) All agents (AGENT1, AGENT2 and AGENT3) for this configuration are listed in the MQ Explorer - Content pane 4) Connect to configuration "QM2" 5) Click on "Agents" 6) All agents (AGENT1, AGENT2 and AGENT3) for this configuration are listed in the MQ Explorer - Content pane 7) Connect again to configuration "QM1" 8) Click on "Agents" 9) Only AGENT1 and AGENT2 is listed. "AGENT3" is missing from the list in the MQ Explorer - Content pane. Issuing a refresh does not cause the missing agent to be listed and can take minutes before the agent is again correctly listed.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: This issue affects users of the WebSphere MQ Explorer File Transfer Edition plug-in who are using the plug-in to display multiple WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition configurations. Platforms affected: Linux on x86-64, Linux on x86, Windows **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: There was a timing issue between the listing of WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition agents in the Content view of the WebSphere MQ Explorer when using the File Transfer Edition (FTE) plug-in and the subscribing to the SYSTEM.FTE topic on the WebSphere MQ FTE coordination queue manager that resulted in some agents not being listed. Any agents affected by this timing window were not displayed in WebSphere MQ Explorer until there was a change in the agent's status, such as stopping the agent, that resulted in a status change from "Ready" to "Stopped" or vice versa.
Problem conclusion
The WebSphere MQ Explorer File Transfer Edition plug-in has been changed to remove the timing window so that all agents associated with the connected configuration are listed in the WebSphere MQ Explorer - Content pane. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following: Version v7.5 -------- -------------------- Fix available in: 7.5.0.3 Version v7.0 -------- -------------------- Fix available in: 7.0.4.4 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from 'WebSphere MQ Recommended Fixes' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006037 If the maintenance level is not yet available information on its planned availability can be found in 'WebSphere MQ Planned Maintenance Release Dates' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006309 ---------------------------------------------------------------
