When using the Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases Data Protection for MS SQL commandline interface, this fails to obtain the SQL Server log on information if the SQLAUTHentication= SQLuserid The output will show that it is attempting to use the default "sa" account to log on to the SQL Server: IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases: Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server Version 6, Release 4, Level 0.0 (C) Copyright IBM Corporation 1997, 2012. Use one of the following options to authenticate with the SQL Server logon: 1. Use SQL Server windows authentication 2. Provide the SQLUSER and SQLPASSWORD as commandline parameters 3. Use the MMC GUI as this works successfully to save and utilize the stored registry information in its operations
