Problem conclusion
Made use of a context parameter that allows the application developer to specify the proxy url being used. Customers must configure the proxy server and configure a context parameter on the application. To configure your proxy server: 1. On the Web server where HATS is installed, locate the file httpd.conf. 2. Using a text editor such as Notepad, add the following two lines to the file: ProxyPass /project_name/ http://yyyyy:port/project_name/ ProxyPassReverse /project_name/ http://yyyyy:port/ project_name/ where "project_name" is the name of your HATS project, "yyyyy" is the fully-qualified IP address of the HATS server, and "port" is the port number To set up the context parameter: 1. Edit the web.xml file of the application (located in the "Web Content\WEB-INF" folder). 2. Add the following: <context-param> <param-name>com.ibm.hats.proxyURL</param-name> <param-value>http://myproxyserver.com:port/project_name</ param-value> </context-param> where "myproxyserver.com" is is the url of the proxy server, "port" is the port number, and "project_name" is the name of your HATS project.
