Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * * Users on Windows who have alarm program configured and an * * alarm activity takes place. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * * The subject had double quotes. So for windows users who * * have alarm program configured and an alarm event actually * * occurs, the double quotes could lead to a truncated subject * * and the rest maybe interpreted as a mail id in which case * * mail might not go to the right people about the alarm * * occurrence. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * * Upgrade to 11.50.xC9 or above. * ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
The double quotes from the subject have been removed. The program should now behave reliably. Fixed in 11.50.xC9.
