  • DataPower FFD feature does not convert zoned and
Comp-3 numbers correctly.

Problem summary


    

  • Affected are customers using Contivo Analyst as binary mapping
tool with DataPower.

The specified length attribute for fields of zoned or
COMP-3 number type is not honored by DataPower.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Values will now be padded on the left with 0x00 for COMP-3
and 0xf0 for zoned numbers to fill up to the number of bytes
specified by the field's length attribute.

Fix is available in 3.8.0.7 and 3.8.1.5.
