Error description
During reclamation, the server reports: ANR9999D_2215753906 EndMoveVolume(./afrclm.c:3475) Thread<283319568ll>: reclamation terminated for volume ABC001 - unexpected result code (26). (PROCESS: 133) ANR1092E Space reclamation is ended for volume ABC001. An internal server error was detected. (PROCESS: 133) Files on the volumes with this error can be recovered by doing one of the following: 1. If the volume belongs to a primary storage pool: a. Issue the AUDIT VOLUME volser FIX=YES RTRVLOGICAL=YES command. Files that have encountered this problem and have copies in a copy storage pool will be marked damaged. Files that do not have a copy in a copy storage pool will be deleted. b. If the files on the volume had been backed up to a copy storage pool, issue the RESTORE STGPOOL or the RESTORE VOLUME command to restore any files marked damaged to the primary storage pool. c. If the files on the volume had not been backed up to a copy storage pool, perform a client backup or archive to reinsert the files into the server. 2. If the volume belongs to a copy storage pool: a. Issue the AUDIT VOLUME volser FIX=YES RTRVLOGICAL=YES command. Files that have encountered this problem will be deleted. b. During the next storage pool backup, the deleted files will be copied to the copy storage pool. Circumvention for the condition includes the following: 1) For the z/OS server, install a ZAP to prevent the creation of aggregates with invalid offsets. 2) Create separate scheduled maintenance windows for expiration and reclamation.
