• Problem Scenario (Step by Step):
  1. start 3DCom without userexit
  2. logon as VPMADM
  3. start a new VPM Query Window using ?Search?
  4. activate environment VPMENV.PART
  5. create 7 new objects in VPMENV.PART:
  o ?arb1166_1?
  o ?arb1166_2_1?
  o ?arb1166_2_2?
  o ?arb1166_3_1?
  o ?arb1166_3_2?
  o ?arb1166_4_1?
  o ?arb1166_4_2?
  6. open PSN of ?arb1166_1?
  7. copy / paste ?arb1166_2_1? into PSN ?arb1166_1? behind
  ?arb1166_1?
  8. copy / paste ?arb1166_2_2? into PSN ?arb1166_1? behind
  ?arb1166_1?
  9. copy / paste ?arb1166_3_1? into PSN ?arb1166_1? behind
  ?arb1166_2_1?
  10. copy / paste ?arb1166_3_2? into PSN ?arb1166_1? behind
  ?arb1166_3_1?
  11. copy / paste ?arb1166_3_1? into PSN ?arb1166_1? behind

  can use same geometry for both parts)
  16. close Catia window
  17. please notice that you should have following structure:
  18. select all ?SOL? and load them to Catia V5 in a new
  product
  19. expand structure tree in Catia
  20. open contextual menu on last instance of ?arb1166_3_1?
  and select ?Cut?:
  21. open contextual menu on instance of ?arb1166_2_1? and
  select ?Paste?:
  22. desired part is pasted
  23. use File / Save to save modifications
  24. please notice VPM save report panel:
  25. swap to 3DCom and notice that ?Cut? is executed in PSN
  26. close and reopen PSN to notice that only ?Cut? was stored
  27. it?s not possible to paste a just cut part in Catia
  structure tree
  28. when trying to save ? only cut is stored ? there?s no
  possibility to run a rollback!
  Expected result:
  Cut and Past should be possible

  Additional Closure Information:
  Daignosis:
  Cut / Paste on an intermediate level of an assembly will
  create a new component that might not be saveable in VPM.
  Reason:Components have local references that must be
  recreated for a correct Cut/Paste.
  Bypass:use Copy/Paste or insert instead
