Error description

  • When trying to view a CATIA Object saved to SmarTeam with the
    SmartIEViewer which visualizes the cgr-files, the following
    Error Message appears:
    - SmarTeam Licensing Error
    - You are not authorized to use this product. Contact your
    administrator
    Scenario to reproduce this error: [Please open attached video
    file "Scenario.wrf "]
    1) In Windows Explorer create a directory named for example
    ??EKO (directory with umlaut, special character)
    2) Start CATIA and create a Part
    3) Save this CATPart to this new created directory "??EKO"
    4) Connect CATIA to SmarTeam
    5) Perform a "SmarTeam / Save" to save the Part to SmarTeam
    6) Select the Viewer - Tab in the ProfileCard
    Current Result:- The following error message appears and the
    Object is not shown:
    Smarteam Licensing Error
    You are not authorized to use this product. Contact your
    administrator

  • NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R20 SP7.
