HE00489: 'NUMBER' ATTRIBUTE IN BILL OF MATERIALS MAKES CATIA HANG

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Scenario:
  1. Open the CATProduct file in CATIA: ASD workbench.
  2. Click on Analyze>Bill of Material.
  3. Click on ???Define Formats??? in the BOM tab.
  4. On the bottom list of "Properties for the Recapitulation"
  click on "<" and add one by one all attributes
       except ???number???. Now click OK.
  5.  Go to ???Define formats??? again and now try to transfer the
  
  ???number??? attribute and click OK  ,
        then observe.
  Problem:
  Catia hangs unexpectedly.
  Expected Result:
  CATIA should not hang and the number attribute should be
  transferred accordingly.
