• THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
  Additional Closure Information:
  Diagnosis:
  Update error is displayed and the "Generate CATPart from
  Product" operation is not completed. The Boolean operation
  between both bodies fails because the second one contains two
  self-intersections.
  Reason:
  It is a limitation in CATIA code where the Boolean operations
  cannot be solved in this kind of situation.
  By-pass:
  - Disassemble the body
  - Make a Trim operation between the 3 faces which intersect
  themselves;
  - Join the result with all the faces, except the old ones
  which are replaced by the trimmed ones.
  - Finally, create a new body in closing ("Close surface") the
  joined faces.
  - This body replaces the old body, which can be deleted.
