  • CATIA V5 - SmarTeam integration issue.
    .
    Prerequisites:
    In CATIA: tools / options / equipment and systems / Design
    Criteria / 3D Design : Schematic Driven is checked
    tools / options / General / Document / Document Environment :
    SmarTeam is current
    .
    Scenario
    1/ Start CATIA V5. Connect to SmarTeam
    2/ Go to equipment /piping / piping and instrumentation
    diagrams
    3/ click on OK for the document creation
    4/ route a piping line
    5/ place a component like a pump
    6/ save to smarteam the product
    7/ Close CATIA
    8/ Restart CATIA and connect to SmarTeam
    6/ go to equipment / piping / piping design
    7/ route a run
    ==> the SchematicBrowser window opens
    8/ click on the browse icon (open schematic diagram)
    9/ search in SmarTeam the targeted Product
    10/ select it and click on OK
    ==> In CATIA, it is not inserted.
    11/ Repeat steps 8 and 9
    ==> It is now inserted properly
    Expected behavior : It should work at the first try, not at
    the second try.
