SCENARIO:
Via the Tools/Options menu in catia V5, different
catalogs can be administered as 'favorites'. Some
favorite-Catalog are saved within VPM.
.
When working in CATIA V5 with the catalog
browser, the favorite catalogs are displayed;
however, they can not be activated by selecting
them.
.
When a file-based catalog is configured as
a 'favorite' it works. The problem only occurs when
using a VPM-based catalog.

RESULT:-
VPM based CATALOG-Favorites can not be used
