• SCENARIO:
  1. Start CATIA V5 R18
  2. Open the CATPart.
  3. No update is needed.
  4. Force update (modify the Parameter for
  instance).

  occurs.

  5. Start CATIA V5 R19
  6. Open the CATPart.
  7. CATPart requires an update.
  8. Update all.
  .
  OBSERVATION 2:
  Update cycle is detected.
  Lot of features involved in update cycle.

  Incident Diagnosis:
  Update is detected in Part made in previous level.
  .
  Correction Explanation:
  The update algorithm for the level in which Part
  was created was more latest than that at the level
  on which Part is opened.
  This caused a conflict in the update algorithm
  calculation and hence Part required update.
  .
  For correction the new update algorithm is now
  made so as to include both Parts made in the level
  of creation and the level in which Part is opened.
  No update of the Part is now required after opening
  the Part.
  .
