HD80637: ENOVIA INSTANCE ALWAYS COMES UP HIDDEN IN CATIA V5

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ENOVIA instance always comes up hidden in CATIA
  V5.
  Some parts appear as "Hidden" when sent to Catia
  from Product Editor in Enovia. The same part is
  showing correctly (not "Hidden") when sent to Catia
  from Content Management or Part Editor.
  Steps to recreate:
  1- Create product1 in enovia
  2- Add two instances under product1 (types Detail
  and controlled by CATIA)
  3- For each of the above instance, Go to Document
  tab and add the documents
  4- Refresh ENOVIA
  5- Select the Two detailed instances and send it to
  part Editor and Copy both parts
  6- Create another product2
  7- Add an instance (type assembly and controlled
  by ENOVIA)
  8- Paste to it the parts that were copied in step 5.
  9- Send the instance to CATIA as assembly
  Expected Results: Parts are in "Show" status
  Actual Results: Part is in "Hide" status

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 20 GA LEVEL.
  Problem description: Reference product inside of
  CATPart document is in Hide state.
  Solution:
  Cleaner rule is provided to fix it.
  Apply the CATDUA rule (UAV_35) , which
  sets the show attribute value to CATShowAttr.
  Once the part is cleaned, save the part and load the
  new Part, and it should behave as normal.
