Error description

  • LICENSING : CATIA ACQUIRES TWO LICENSES ON
THE SAME MACHINE WITH THE SAME USER - SAME
    ACID
    Requirements:
    - LUM server 4.6.8 is installed on a server with
    following licenses
    * DM2+FIT+KIN with a serial number, quantity 2
    * DM2+FIT+KIN with a different serial number than
    the previous, quantity 2
    - 3 different machines with ENOVIA DMU installed
    on machine A, B and C.
All ENOVIA clients have been set with
DM2+FIT+KIN licenses on the server with "ANY
    license" option selected
    Scenario:
Step 1 - Launch ENOVIA DMU on machine A
1 license has been taken on server side
Step 2 - Launch ENOVIA DMU on machine B
2 licenses have been taken on server side on the
    same serial number
Step 3 - Launch ENOVIA DMU on machine C
2 licenses have been taken on server side on the
same serial number + 1 license on the other serial
    number
Step 4 - Close ENOVIA DMU session on machine A
1 license has been taken on server side + 1 license
    on the other serial number
Step 5 - Launch another ENOVIA DMU session on
    machine C
Result: 2 licenses have been taken on server side
on the same serial number + 1 license on the other
    serial number
Expected result: 1 license has been taken on
server side + 1 license on the other serial number
Reason: On machine C, we have the same user,
same machine, same acid, so only one license
should be taken from server side.

    Correction Explanation
In some specfic case the serial number of the
