• Certified driver results CATIA Crash in Drafting
  writing text
  ENVIRONMENT:
  ThinkPad T61p with FX570M graphic adapter and
  Certified driver: 15.687
  Windows XP SP2
  Catia R18 SP4
  SCENARIO:
  0. Reproduce on Thinkpad T61p. on windows XP
  SP2 EN/US install.
  1. Install provided TrueType fonts.
  2. Make sure that you are using DS certified driver
  6.14.11.5687 (15687)
  3. Make sure that you have set Nvidia settings to
  Dassault env.
  4.  Start Catia V5R18 SP4
  5. Create drawing
  6. Select T (Text) icon
  7. Select the provided font
  8. type a - b - c - d - e - f - g and so on -
  RESULT:
  -> c is missing
  -> Get abend on g.
  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  Problem has only been reproduced on the T61P,
  test on desktops work ok.
  DESIRED SOLUTION:
  T61p setup that has no graphic problems and does
  not abend when a customised font is used.

  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  Graphic problems when using the 6.14.11.5687 and
  6.14.11.7471 drivers on T61P.
  .
  The problem does not occur on DS recommended
  driver 6.14.11.7575. So, please use the
  6.14.11.7575 version of driver
