  • Drafting (IntDraft) / Import of SVG file into CATIA
    results into a corrupted display of the file when
    using German Frence or Spanish locale.

    SCENARIO:
    .
    1. Set the system locale to English.
    2. Create a new CATDrawing.
    3. Insert the SVG files into the CATDrawing.
    See that the SVG files is inserted correctly.
    4. Now change the system locale to French or
    German or Spanish.
    5. Create a new CATDrawing.
    6. Insert the SVG files into the CATDrawing.

    OBSERVATION:
    .
    Some SVG image files are not displayed correctly
    when the locale language is either French or
    German or Spanish.
    .
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    .
    The inserted SVG fiels should be displayed
    correctly. The result should be same as that of
    English.

    INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
    .
    Drafting (IntDraft) / Import of SVG file into CATIA
    results into a corrupted display of the file when
    using German Frence or Spanish locale.
    .
    CORRECTION EXPLANATION:
    .
    Decimal point was wrongly interpreted in SVG
    interpreter on certain locale settings where decimal
    character is ',' and not '.'.
    .
    Decimal character is handled properly thus
    avoiding loss of data.
    .
