THE PROBLEM WAS SUBMITTED ON : CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 16. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON : CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 18 GA level . Additional Information; Correction needs development at LUM side which will be then need to integrated in CATIA code. The patch to deal with this scenario was delivered by LUM lab on 4.6.8.008 release. The SDK (Software Development Kit) of this latest pacth by LUM(4.6.8.8) is different than the earlier one for which CATIA is designed. This new SDK is not compatible with R16 or R17 design. The compiler level/options used in this SDK is not compatible with R16/R17. Therefore, integration of this solution on R16 or R17 level is not feasible. Such change in compiler level/options used in SDK is only feasible at a GA opened level. Taking into consideration the huge modification required in basic infrastructure it would not either be possible to deliver it on an already distributed release on SP. We never change the licensing layer in a Service Pack. From the explanations above we can clearly conclude that a HF correction is not feasible, neither a correction on SP on R16 or R17. Now R18 level cointains the latest patch form LUM i.e. 4.6.8.9 . .
