3. Now load the Outside CATPart in CATIA
4. Update the original CATPart
5. Try to Zoom or Rotate

OBSERVATION:
The CATPart gets locked intermittently
.
EXPECTED RESULT:
The CATPart should not be locked when zoom or
rotate is performed.

Problem conclusion


    

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
5 RELEASE 18 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
ON V5R17SP06.

Incident Diagnosis
Problem of performances after the synchronization
of an import feature. The synchronization seems to
be good, but in fact, there is a problem in the
GenericNaming Model.
.
Correction Explanation
The Generic naming synchronization was not
correct because specific cases were not treated :
cases of old models with particular old
configurations not existing anymore in current
levels. So a fix has been done to treat these
configurations.
With that fix the synchronization of the import is
correct and there is no problem of performances
anymore.
