Error description

  • Problem of Activate/Deactivate Tooling Component
    (2)
    PROBLEM:
    Hole symbole does not get deactivated after
    deactivating the corresponding Die Component.
    SCENARIO:
    1.  Run the CATIA from attached sample WS.
    2.  Go to "Mold Tooling Design" workbench.
    3.  Select  "Create a new Moldbase" command
    in "Mold Base Components" toolbars.
    4.  "Create a new Moldbase" dialog is diaplayed.
    5.  OK.
    6.  Go to "CAA V5: PressDie Design" workbench.
    7.  Run  "CAA Add DieComponent" command
    in "CAADie Components" toolbars.
    8.  "CAADie Define Component" dialog is diaplayed.
    9.  click on "Option" tab.
    10. Select "EjectorPin_ST_SCREW.CATProduct"
    (delivered) as Reference.
    11. Click on "Positioning" tab.
    12. Select Input "Drill from"
    = "SettingPlate.1", "To" = "ClampingPlate.1".
    13. Place the parts on the top face of SettingPlate.
    14. OK
    15. Select "EjectorPin" and Run "Active/Deactivate
    Tooling Componenet"from context  menu.
    RESULT:
    Hole symbols does not get deactivated in the
    InjectionSide.
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Hole symbols should be deactivated in the
    Injectionside.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
    5 RELEASE 18 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R16SP07.V5R17SP01.
