Error description
GSA : Von Mises stress are not displayed when 'General Analysis Connection' is used. For the scenario, please fllow the step by step scenario below or refer to the ppt send. STEP BY STEP SCENARIO: 1- Start CATIA R14SP1. // 'Point Analysis Connection' case. // 2- Open the provided CATAnalysis file for Point Analysis case. 3- Go to the Workbench : 'Generative Structural Analysis'. =>'Von Mises Stress' is displayed. (This is the right behavior.) 4- Close the file. // 'General Analysis Connection' case. // 5- Open the provided CATAnalysis file for General Analysis case. 6- Go to the Workbench : 'Generative Structural Analysis'. =>'Von Mises Stress' is not displayed. >>>This is problem. 7- Close the CATIA. // R13SP2 open case. // 8- Start CATIA R13SP2. 9- Open the provided CATAnalysis file for General Analysis case. 10- Go to the Workbench : 'Generative Structural Analysis'. =>'Von Mises Stress' is displayed. (This is the right behavior.) Problem : The result displayed in R13SP2 is not displayed in R14 when 'General Analysis Connection' is used. Result to expect : The result displayed in R13SP2 should be displayed in R14 even if 'General Analysis Connection' is used. Remark: This analysis file was created in R13SP2. .

Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA. Incident Diagnosis GSA : Von Mises stress are not displayed when 'General Analysis Connection' is used. Restriction Explanation In fact the wrong behavior is in CATIA V5R13. A programming bug has been introduced in CATIA V5R12 (or CATIA V5R13) in the general update mechanism. - This bug is specific to Brep linkage in the case of the analysis connection (to be more precise all the analysis features that are not mesh dependant). - We have corrected in another PMR the problem. - Now we are no more able to have some compatible software in order to know is the Not Uptodate status is coming from the bug or from the a geometry modification. By-Pass Update the model in R14. .
