Error description

  • scenario:
    1-Start VPM,  from VPM Start  CATIA V5
    2-Load a CATPart with frozen maturity into CATIA
    V5
    3-Switch to CATIA V5, modify the CATPart
    by changing its design.
    4-Switch back to VPM and  Extract/Save the
    CATPart (on the same VPM part)
    5-An error message will be displayed, inform
    that the CATPart is frozen
    6-Switch back to CATIA V5 and modify, one
    more time  the CATPart
    7-In the menu File execute Save
    Result : the save will be
    done instead of an error message saying that
    the CATPart is frozen

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 13 GA lev
    el.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R12SP03,
    V5R11SP07 AND V5R10SP10.
    WARNING : VPM 1.5 PTF19 at least is needed for this correction
