PRISMACH : Radial/Axial movement option in machine definition doesn't work Problem: Radial/Axial movement option in machine definition doesn't work 1. Open CatPart 2. Switch to Prismatic Machining 3. Open definition Part Operation. 4. Select Machine 5. Select option "Radial/axial movement" 6. Create one pocket operation + replay 7. Create second pocketing operation (with a bootom offset) + replay Transition path is straight is stead of radial/axial .

THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 12 GA level TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION: ====>.Axial Radial Move is possible only if the last axis of ====>.the toolpath of the first operation is the same as ====>.the first axis of the toolpath of the second ====>.operation. ====>.In this case, the axis were not parallel (at 10E-8 ====>.radians). So it didn't work.... ====>.The tolerance has been set to 10E-3 radians, in ====>.order to allow the limit cases... ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS: ====>.no by pass.
