Error description

  • Create two parts in VPM and associate a CATPart to each.
Create a VPM Part for the assembly node.
Copy and paste the two part with the CATParts onto the
    assembly part just created.
Open each of the CATParts from VPMA.
In both CATParts make a sketch with a circle and then a pad
    out of the sketch.
Be sure to save the modified CATParts into VPM.
    Close both CATParts
Open a PSN of the assembly part.
In the PSN select the two CATParts and open them into CATIA
    V5.
In the assembly design workbench, create a coincidence
    between the axis
Create an offset constraint between the two parts.
File + Save All in CATIA V5
    Close the CATProduct.
    Save the PSN graph
Open either of the CATParts from VPMA.
    Delete the Pad and Sketch
    Create a new Sketch.
In the sketch make a circle.
Make a pad from the sketch.
File + Save in CATIA V5
    Close the CATPart
From the PSN of the assembly select the two CATParts and
    open them into CATIA V5
Notice the Assembly constraints do not appear and therefore
    can't be rerouted.
The BLOB data for the assembly constraints is still in the
feature table but it is not recoverable.
The expected result is for the constraints to show in the
temporary CATProduct but be unresolved. This way the user
have the chance to reroute them.
The assembly constraint belongs to both parts in session and
both CATParts are in design mode so the constraint should be
loaded regardless if it is resolved or not.
