HC70685: EXCEL FILE IS NOT DISPLAYED CORRECTLY IN THE DRAWING AFTER INSERT/OBJECT.

Error description

• Insert/object of a specific excel file into the drawing :
  all of the informations that are in the .xls file do not show up
  on the drawing.

Problem summary

•  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  After insert of an excel sheet in a drawing, the image of this
  sheet in the drawing is not whole : some columns and lines are
  missing. Problem is the same if we try to extend this sheet :
  we keep the same number of lines and columns.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 5 GA level .
  
   TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
  The problem of missing lines has been corrected on V5R5 ga :
  on this CATIA level, we can see that the 22 lines (21 lines
  + the title line) are correctly displayed in the drawing.
  .
  However, the last column of the excel sheet (title = VENDOR)
  cannot be seen in the drawing after Insert/Object.
  This problem remains a restriction : it is the application
  server Excel that provides to CATIA the image to display in
  the drawing and that determines its size.
  In some cases (large excel table), this image does not contain
  all the cells. It is a bug in Excel application that we can
  find also if we try to insert the same Excel page in Word
  or PowerPoint application : the image of the excel sheet in
  Word or PowerPoint is the same as in CATIA.
  
   ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
  All the lines of the excel sheet are displayed in the drawing
  in CATIA V5R5 ga.
  For the problem of the missing last column, there is no by-pass
  today until the problem in Excel is corrected.
