HC62053: IN CBD, ONLY IDF EXT. IS MANAGED FOR THE EXPORTED FILES. BDF OR DXF SHOULD BE PROPOSED TOO DEPENDING ON THE CHOOSEN EXPORT OPT.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When exporting a Board the user can choose what kind of file to
  be created:  IDF 3.0, IDF 2.0(Allegro), IDF 2.0 (MG) or DXF.
  However, whatever the option selected, you get the same result:
  and IDF 2.0 file with name ending with extension"idf".
  What we are requesting is to make the option work the way it
  says it should.
  For instance when IDF 2.0 (Allegro) is selected, and IDF 2.0
  file with the name ending with extension "BDF" should be
  created.  When DXF is selected a DXF file should be created.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• In CBD, no management of bdf and brd extension is offered,
  only idf is proposed.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 4 GA level .
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R3SP6
  
  The issue is solved.
  During the export, if you select :
  - IDF 2.0, the system will save with ext. *.idf
  - IDF 2.0 (MG), the system will save with ext. *.brd
  - IDF 2.0 (Allegro), the system will save with ext. *.bdf
  .
  Remark : NO dxf extension is proposed as this format is not
  considered as a CBD dedicated one.
