Abstract
MaaS360 announces integration with Panasonic OEM to manage the supported Panasonic devices in a single unified solution. With this support, administrators can easily enroll the Panasonic devices into the MaaS360 portal using the normal MDM enrollment workflows. MaaS360 also adds support for silent installation/uninstallation of apps and new policies to manage app compliance and enforce device restrictions.

MaaS360 announces integration with Panasonic OEM to manage the supported Panasonic devices in a single unified solution. With this support, administrators can easily enroll the Panasonic devices into the MaaS360 portal using the normal MDM enrollment workflows. MaaS360 also adds support for silent installation/uninstallation of apps and new policies to manage app compliance and enforce device restrictions.

MaaS360 adds support for the following Android MDM policies:

Allow USB Charging | Allows charging of the device through USB. | |
Allow USB Cradle Port | Allows pairing with a USB cradle. | |
Allow USB | Allows USB connection between a device and computer. Allows debugging mode, tethering, and USB media player. If blocked, USB is only used for charging. | |
Allow Microphone | Allows the users and third-party applications to use the microphone. | |
Device Settings > Restrictions > Network Settings | Allow Wi-Fi | Allows the use of Wi-Fi on the device. If allowed, users cannot turn the Wi-Fi off. |
Bluetooth | Allows the use of Bluetooth on the device. If allowed, users cannot turn the Bluetooth off. | |
Near Field Communication (NFC) | The device uses Near Field Communication (NFC) for short-range communications. | |
Device Settings > Restrictions > Developer Options | Allow USB Debugging | The device provides options for USB debugging, where users can use the Android SDK to connect a device to a computer. |
