Add Holiday Page
Use the Add Holiday page to define a date that your facilitiesor docks are closed. When Sterling TMS calculateshow long a carrier has to respond to a tender it takes the locationschedule into account. For example a U.S. shipper might specify holidaysto prevent tenders from expiring on 4 July or Thanksgiving.
Enterthe date for the holiday and then click Save tocreate the holiday and close the page. Click Cancel toclose the page without saving your changes.
Notes:
- Sterling TMS doesnot provide any default holidays.
- You do not specify a name for the holiday. You only enter thedate such as 4-July-2013 or 1-Jan-2014.
- You can only enter one holiday at a time. To enter multiple holidaysreopen the Add Holiday page and enter each date separately.
- You can only designate a holiday as a whole day. You cannot specifya partial day as a holiday.
- You cannot edit a holiday. Instead you must remove the holidayand add it again.
