Action xxx is in a swimlane that is not represented by a model element, during "Allocate Operations from Swimlanes" in the IBM Rational Rhapsody SE-Toolkit Modeling Toolbox

Cause


The "Allocate Operations from Swimlanes" copies operations from the destination to the represent elements in the swimlane. In the model, if the swimlane represent field is empty then you will get this error:

Action xxx is in a swimlane that is not represented by a model element


Answer



What needs to be done is to map Swimlanes to Blocks - not just name them. Easiest way to do this is to drag the Block onto the Swimlane name (see below)

WRONG: (The swimlane Represents box is empty)



RIGHT: (Note the Represents is filled in)
