How to add and manage linkset pairings through DXL?
Answer
In the DOORS GUI, linkset pairings between two modules can be created from Module Properties > Linksets tab. These linkset pairings can be made mandatory as well as set to only allow outgoing links that meet the linkset pairing specified.
In DXL linkset pairings are called Link Module descriptors. Note that these linkset pairings or Link Module descriptors are stored in the parent folder of the module. The section ‘Links > Link Management’ gives more information on creating and managing link module descriptors.
