Is there a method in IBM Rational DOORS to access DXL contained in a column without loading the view where it is used?
Cause
Currently, you cannot find modules with bad layout DXL (defective views) without spending days of effort. If you had a way to go through each column without loading the view a job that would take days is reduced to something that will run in a less than 2 hours against every module in the database.
Answer
It is not possible to access DXL in a column in Rational DOORS without loading the view that contains that column; however, this can be submitted as Enhancement Request.
