Overview
The new IBM 2U Universal Tape Autoloader 3362 Model 2LX offers high capacity, performance, and technology designed for the midrange xSeries environment. This model incorporates a single Linear Tape-Open (LTO) IBM Generation 3 Drive, which more than doubles tape drive performance over the previous generation Tape Drives, up to 80 MB/sec native data transfer rate (up to 160 MB/sec with 2:1 compression).
The Model 2LX comes with a LVD Ultra160 SCSI attachment, for connection to a wide spectrum of xSeries servers. Standard on all models is a barcode reader and Remote Management Unit.
The 2U Universal Tape Autoloader 3362 is a rack-mountable unit that incorporates a single IBM LTO Generation 3 tape drive. The 2U LTO Tape Autoloader 3362 capacity is twenty-two tape cartridges, plus an I/O port, providing a media capacity of up to 9.2 TB (up to 18.4 TG with 2:1 compression) data storage per unit.
Three-year, limited warranty on parts and labor.

The IBM 2U Universal Tape Autoloader includes a standard US and PDU power cord. Country specific power cords must be ordered seperately.
