To remove the battery:
- Remove the cover by pressing in the cover release latch and rotate up while sliding the cover the rear approximately one-half inch.
- Lift the cover off and place to the side.
- Using a flat-bladed probe, flex the battery retaining spring clip to free the battery, and lift the battery out of the retainer.
For specific instructions for the removal and installation of hardware.
