Abstract
POWER8システムには、システム・ファームウェア更新を行う際に検査される「アクセス・キーの更新（Update Access Key（以下、UAK）」が組み込まれています。UAKには有効期限があり、有効期限を経過するとシステム・ファームウェアの更新は処理されません。

【概要】
POWER8システムには、システム・ファームウェア更新を行う際に検査される「アクセス・キーの更新（Update Access Key（以下、UAK）」が組み込まれています。UAKには有効期限があり、有効期限を経過するとシステム・ファームウェアの更新は処理されません。
当テクニカル・フラッシュでは、UAKの有効期限の確認方法と、更新方法についてガイドします。
【対象機器】
POWER8（以降）のPower Systems機器。POWER8より以前の機器(POWER7/7+, POWER6など）については該当しません。
【内容】
POWER8システムには、システム・ファームウェア更新を行う際に検査される「アクセス・キーの更新（Update Access Key（以下、UAK）」が組み込まれています。UAKには有効期限があり、有効期限を経過するとシステム・ファームウェアの更新は処理されません。
UAKの有効期限が近づいた場合と有効期限が切れた場合に、下記のようなメッセージがハードウェア管理コンソール (HMC)に表示されます。
例：有効期限が切れる前に表示されるメッセージ
HSCL0071:The update access key for this server expires in {number} days. To renew the hardware entitlement of this
server, obtain a new update access key from the website http://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/ess. Use the management
console Capacity on Demand (CoD) Enter CoD Code task to enter the new key on the server.
例：有効期限が切れた場合に表示されるメッセージ
HSCL0072: The update access key for this server has expired. To renew the hardware entitlement of this server,
obtain a new update access key from the website http://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/ess. Use the management console
Capacity on Demand (CoD) Enter CoD Code task to enter the new key on the server
上記のようなメッセージが表示された場合、アクセス・キーを更新する必要があります。
【対応策】
＜ アクセス・キーの更新方法 ＞
アクセス・キーの有効期限を更新するには、次の手順を実行します。
- Webサイトより、新しいアクセス・キーを取得する
- HMCもしくはAdvanced System Management Interface（ASMI）から、取得した新しいアクセス・キーを入力する。

a) Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI) を使用
b) HMCを使用
c) AIXコマンドを使用
d) Linuxコマンドを使用
e) IBM i コマンドを使用
