mining functions and algorithms that support different PMML types.
With Intelligent
Miner,
you can create and store PMML models in DB2® databases.
You can also apply these models in the database.

Miner extracts
knowledge from historic data and builds a data mining model. This
model contains the rules and the patterns that are identified in the
data. This step is also referred to as training a model.
The model is stored in the database in the standardized XML format PMML.

- Intelligent Miner applies the PMML models to new data.
