This section contains all IBM® Atlas Policy Suite components, grouped alphabetically.

ACCESSIBILITY component
The ACCESSIBILITY component creates options for the Data Source Accessibility attribute, one of the Data Discovery elements (along with Media Type, Information Type, and others). The attribute gauges the ease with which the Data Source can be accessed. How you interpret the value is up to you.
ACH Engine Settings component
When IBM Atlas Policy Suite sends a message to an IBM Atlas eDiscovery Policy Syndication connector, it gives the connector a certain amount of time to respond. If the time limit expires, the system resends the message. If the cumulative wait time hits a maximum limit, the system gives up. The ACH Engine Settings component contains parameters that define the inter-message wait time and the maximum wait time. This component only applies to automated plans.
ACH_TRANSACTION_CONFIGURATION component
The ACH_TRANSACTION_CONFIGURATION component’s Parameters set the conditions in which Structured Preservation and Collection Plans are automatically rejected or marked as complete.
ADAPTER_LINK_APPLICATION component
The ADAPTER_LINK_APPLICATION component provides information that is used to create an ATRS Link button on the IBM Atlas Policy Suite web client that takes users to a web location that hosts your Add To Request Scope application. The button can be found at the beginning of the Matters > Request > RequestName page.
Alert_Email_Settings component
The Alert_Email_Settings component specifies the email addresses to which alerts are sent. To disable alerts, set the value of both parameters to FALSE.
ALERT_EXPIRATION component
The ALERT_EXPIRATION component contains parameters that specify the amount of time after which an alert is removed from a recipient's My Alerts tray and after which the alert is no longer accessible from the alert email that was sent to the recipient. Each parameter controls a time limit for a specific group of alerts.
ALERT_FILTERING component
The ALERT_FILTERING component lets you set defaults for the types of alerts that are displayed in the My Alerts tray on the My Atlas page. It also lets you display or suppress matter names in the alerts themselves.
ALLOW PARALEGAL OR ATTORNEY CONFIRMATION component
The ALLOW PARALEGAL OR ATTORNEY CONFIRMATION component specifies whether or not a matter’s Legal personnel (or others) can respond on a recipient’s behalf.
ATTORNEY component
The ATTORNEY component identifies those roles that can perform the duties of an attorney. A user that is assigned one of these roles can be designated as the attorney for a matter.
AUTHENTICATION component
The AUTHENTICATION component contains a parameter that controls how users are allowed to access IBM Atlas Policy Suite.
AUTO_APPROVAL_RULES_FOR_IMPORT component
The AUTO_APPROVAL_RULES_FOR_IMPORT component configures the automatic approval of imported local and master schedules (templates).
AUTOMATIC_LICENSE_GENERATION component
The AUTOMATIC_LICENSE_GENERATION component contains parameters that configure the Atlas Usage Report. If you enable this report, the Automatic License Generation Task timer task routinely generates a report (in CSV and PDF formats) that contains user license information. It can then send the report to designated email addresses.
AWF_ADMIN_ROLE component
The AWF_ADMIN_ROLE component specifies the role that can act as an approval workflow administrator. Users who are assigned this role receive a notification when an approval request for a retention schedule has expired.
AWF_APPROVAL_ROLE_1, AWF_APPROVAL_ROLE_2, and AWF_APPROVAL_ROLE_3 components
The AWF_APPROVAL_ROLE_1, AWF_APPROVAL_ROLE_2, and AWF_APPROVAL_ROLE_3 components identify the roles that can act as workflow approvers.
AWF_CONFIGURATION component
The AWF_CONFIGURATION component specifies whether or not the approval workflow (AWF) is used as the retention schedule approval process, and sets the approval expiration period.
AWF_ROLE1_ONE_LEVEL_APPROVAL_REQ component
The AWF_ROLE1_ONE_LEVEL_APPROVAL_REQ component specifies the number of AWF_APPROVAL_ROLE_1 approvals that are required.
Workflow approval roles (AWF_SCHEDULE* and AWF_TEMPLATE* components)
The following five components specify whether approval is required from AWF Approver 1, AWF Approver 2, or AWF Approver 3 when a particular attribute of a retention schedule is modified. The AWF_SCHEDULE components apply to local schedule attributes. The AWF_TEMPLATE components apply to master schedules and record classes.
BULLETIN_CONFIGURATION component
The BULLETIN_CONFIGURATION component configures the bulletin messages that are created by the Communications module.
CHANGE_ALERTING component
The CHANGE_ALERTING component specifies whether users can modify their own change alert preferences by using the Preferences page.
CITATION CLASS component
The CITATION CLASS component supplies options for the citation Type attribute. The attribute describes the importance or authority of the citation. How you interpret the value is up to you.
CITATION_LIMIT_USE component
The CITATION_LIMIT_USE component supplies options for the Citation Limits Uses requirement attribute. The attribute is an indication of the way in which the Citation imposes a limitation on the use of a Record. How you interpret the value of an option is up to you.
CLASSIFICATIONLIBRARY component
Use the CLASSIFICATIONLIBRARY component to specify how the master schedules are displayed in the Classification Library. You can set the DEFAULT SEARCH parameter to view either the corporate master schedule or all schedules.
COGNOS_REPORTING component
The COGNOS_REPORTING component allows you to set the URL for your Cognos® server and specify the name space for your reports.
COLLECTOR component
The COLLECTOR component identifies those roles that can conduct collections. A user that is assigned one of these roles is added to the Conducted By menu on the Matters > Collections > Logs > Log Entry page (assuming that the user has access to the matter).
COMPONENT_FISCAL_YEAR component
The COMPONENT_FISCAL_YEAR component establishes the start of the fiscal year.
CONFIRMATION_AUTHENTICATION component
The CONFIRMATION_AUTHENTICATION component specifies whether or not a Hold Notice recipient has to be authenticated in order to see the Hold confirmation web form.
CONTENT_DISPOSAL component
The CONTENT_DISPOSAL component configures document disposition, the disposal of collected documents that are associated with a matter.
CONTENT_DISPOSAL_APPROVER component
The CONTENT_DISPOSAL_APPROVER component specifies the roles that are allowed to approve or reject requests to delete a matter’s documents. Users who are assigned one of these Roles are sent Disposal Approval Request Alerts when a Disposal Request is submitted. A Disposal Approver may only approve Disposal Requests for the Matters that he or she has access to.
CONTENT_DISPOSAL_REQUESTER component
The CONTENT_DISPOSAL_REQUESTER component specifies the roles that are allowed to request that a matter’s documents be deleted. Users who are assigned one of these Roles will see an Initiate Disposition button on the Matters > MatterName > Details page. A Disposal Requester can only generate Disposal Requests for the Matters that he or she has access to.
CONTENT_DISPOSAL_SUBSCRIBER component
The CONTENT_DISPOSAL_SUBSCRIBER component specifies the roles that receive alerts regarding disposal workflow events. Users who are assigned one of these Roles are sent Alerts when a Disposal Request is approved and cancelled, and when a set of documents are about to be deleted (the final notification). A Disposal Subscriber only receives Alerts for the Matters that he or she has access to.
CONTEXT_DONOT_INDEX_FILES component
The files that are imported into IBM Atlas Policy Suite as part of a legal collection are indexed by the indexing service for the Database. The CONTEXT_DONOT_INDEX_FILES component identifies those file types that you do not want Oracle Text or DB2® Text Search to index.
COST_MODELING component
The COST_MODELING component contains parameters that configure eDiscovery Cost Forecasting in general, and that provide default values for the terms that are used in its cost forecasting and modeling algorithms.
COST_MODELING_EVENT_PROB component
The COST_MODELING_EVENT_PROB component lists the events that are significant in the life of a matter, events such as matter created, first Request, and Hold Notice published. The COST_MODELING_EVENT_PROB component maps each event to the probability that documents will eventually be collected and exported from a matter in which the event occurs. These probabilities help guide the Atlas eDiscovery Cost Forecasting engine when it is creating a forecast.
COUNTRIES component
The COUNTRIES component contains parameters that specify the options that populate the various country dropdown menus. These menus include the Country menu on the Admin > Organizations edit page, the Country Code menu on the Schedules > Local Schedules search panel, and so on.
CSV_IMPORT component
The CSV_IMPORT component contains a parameter that specifies the full path of the log file that captures the results of a CSV import operation.
CUSTODIAN_ATTR_EXT_APPLICATION component
The CUSTODIAN_ATTR_EXT_APPLICATION component provides information that is used to create a button in the IBM Atlas Policy Suite web client. When a user clicks the button, the user is taken to an External Custodian Attributes application. The button is placed on the Custodians tab of Collection Plans that are marked as Per Custodian.
CUSTOM_STAT_COLLECTION_PLANS component
The CUSTOM_STAT_COLLECTION_PLANS component defines custom status details for collection plans.
CUSTOM_STAT_PRESERVATION_PLANS component
The CUSTOM_STAT_PRESERVATION_PLANS component defines custom status details for preservation plans.
CUSTOM_THEME component
The CUSTOM_THEME component lets you set the background color, font color, and font family for the IBM Atlas Policy Suite web client. It also lets you specify a logo that is displayed in the header of the client.
DATA_BATCH_SIZES component
When a timer task wakes up, it grabs the entire list of pertinent objects from the database and then begins processing them. In some cases, the list could be too long for a single pass. Use the DATA_BATCH_SIZES component to limit the number of objects that a task will attempt to process. If the number of pertinent objects exceeds the specified limit, the task processes the objects in batches.
DATA_GOVERNANCE_METRICS component
The DATA_GOVERNANCE_METRICS component configures the way in which statistics are presented on the Data Governance Metrics page of the Map > Data Sources module. This page presents an overview of the data sources that are involved in the greatest number of legal and regulatory obligations.
DATA_PURGE_SETTINGS component
The DATA_PURGE_SETTINGS component contains parameters that specify the age, in days, of data that should be deleted from the database tables that store temporary data. The data is deleted by the TempTableCleanup task.
DATASOURCE_CHANGE_ALERT_FIELDS component
The DATASOURCE_CHANGE_ALERT_FIELDS component specifies whether or not a change to a data source attribute triggers a change alert. Alerts are sent when a data source change request is approved, not when the request is submitted.
DATASTRUCTURE component
The DATASTRUCTURE component supplies options for the Data Source Data Structure attribute. This attribute describes the way the structure or layout of the data that the Data Source typically contains. How you interpret the value is up to you.
DOCUMENT_LIBRARY component
The DOCUMENT_LIBRARY component configures document import and export. When a user imports documents into IBM Atlas Policy Suite, the files are first placed in a temporary directory on the application server where they wait to be processed (uploaded into the Atlas database, parsed by the CSV importer, and so on). After they are processed, they are removed from the temporary directory. Similarly, when a user exports documents from IBM Atlas Policy Suite, the files are first copied from the Atlas database into the temporary directory where they wait to be downloaded to the user’s system.
DROP_BOX_ROOTS component
The DROP_BOX_ROOTS component specifies the directories that act as repositories for imported and exported data. In addition to declaring the drop box locations, you must assign them to users on the Admin > Drop Box page.
DS_APPROVER component
Each parameter in the DS_APPROVER component specifies an IBM Atlas Policy Suite role. A user who is assigned one of these roles can approve or reject a request to create, update, or deactivate a data source.
DS_APP_CLASS component
The DS_APP_CLASS component parameters define options for the data source application attributes Security level and Application Class.
DS_APP_COMPLEXITY component
The DS_APP_COMPLEXITY component parameters define options for the data source details attribute named Complexity.
DS_CHARGEBACK_COST_ROLES component
The DS_CHARGEBACK_COST_ROLES component specifies IBM Atlas Policy Suite roles that authorize users to view chargeback cost attributes that are associated with a data source.
DS_CONFIGURATION component
The parameters in the DS_CONFIGURATION component set system-level attributes of the data source maintenance feature.
DS_COST_QUANTA component
The DS_COST_QUANTA component parameters specify the storage units in megabytes, gigabytes, or terabytes that are used to compute the monthly IT and chargeback costs for a data source. That is, in the formula cost = $N / M units / month, these parameters supply the units.
DS_DEACTIVATEREASON component
The DS_DEACTIVATEREASON component provides options for the Reason for Request menu that is displayed when a user deactivates a Data Source. How you interpret the values is up to you.
DS_DM_DB_STORAGE_TYPE component
The DS_DM_DB_STORAGE_TYPE component parameters specify the options for the data source Data Management > DBMS Storage Type attribute.
DS_DM_DB_TYPE component
The DS_DM_DB_TYPE component parameters specify the options for the data source Data Management > Database Type attribute.
DS_IT_COST_ROLES component
The DS_IT_COST_ROLES component specifies IBM Atlas Policy Suite roles that authorize users to view the IT cost attributes that are associated with a data source.
DS_MAPPER component
Each parameter in the DS_MAPPER component specifies an IBM Atlas Policy Suite role. A user who is assigned one of these roles can create, edit, and deactivate a data source on the Map > Data Sources page.
DS_NEWREASON component
The DS_NEWREASON component provides options for the Reason for Request menu that is displayed when a user creates a new Data Source (or requests that a Data Source be created). How you interpret the values is up to you.
DS_OPERATING_SYSTEM component
The DS_OPERATING_SYSTEM component parameters specify the operating systems that can host data source servers.
DS_SERVER_CLASS component
The DS_SERVER_CLASS component parameters define options for the server types Class attribute.
DS_UPDATEREASON component
The DS_UPDATEREASON component provides options for the Reason for Request menu that is displayed when a user modifies a Data Source.
EMAIL CONFIRMATION MAIL SETTINGS component
The EMAIL CONFIRMATION MAIL SETTINGS component defines how hold notice reply messages are processed. This component applies to hold notices that include the $emailConfirmation placeholder.
EMAIL_HEADER_EXTENSIONS component
Use the EMAIL_HEADER_EXTENSIONS component to create SMTP header entries in hold notices and hold notice templates.
EMPLOYEE_SEARCH_OPTIONS component
By using the EMPLOYEE_SEARCH_OPTIONS component, you can include IBM Atlas Policy Suite login IDs and person identifiers in matter alerts and employee searches in hold notice courtesy copies.
ENABLE_ADDALL_CLIPBOARD_FOR_ NON_CURRENTDATE component
When constructing the scope of a request, a user can ask for the set of persons who were members of a particular organization during a specific date range.
ENABLE_CUSTOM_STAT_DETAILS_PRESERVATION_COLL_PLAN component
The ENABLE_CUSTOM_STAT_DETAILS_PRESERVATION_COLL_PLAN component enables or disables custom status details for preservation plans and collection plans. Once enabled, the custom status detail values can be specified in the CUSTOM_STAT_COLLECTION_PLANS and CUSTOM_STAT_PRESERVATION_PLANS components.
ENABLE_DROPBOX_IMPORT component
The ENABLE_DROPBOX_IMPORT component tells the system whether or not to let IT personnel collect documents through Drop Boxes. Drop Box export is always enabled.
ERM_INSTALLED component
The ERM_INSTALLED component specifies whether or not IBM Global Retention Policy and Schedule Management is installed.
ERM_ROLES component
The ERM_ROLES component specifies the Roles that populate the Role part of the Distribution List Resource Chooser in the Communications tab.
EXTERNAL_REPOSITORY component (deprecated)
The EXTERNAL_REPOSITORY component configures the system to use an external repository.
FILE EXTN MIME TYPE MAP component
The FILE EXTN MIME TYPE MAP component contains a parameter that specifies the mapping between various file extensions and their MIME types.
GENERATE_CHANGE_ALERT_FOR_ BULK_DATA_UPLOAD component
The GENERATE_CHANGE_ALERT_FOR_BULK_DATA_UPLOAD component specifies whether or not Change Alerts are generated when Person and Organization data is created or modified by using Atlas Extensions, by importing a CSV file, or by the running of a Timer Task.
GENERATE_CHANGE_ALERT_FOR_ SUB_ORGS component
The GENERATE_CHANGE_ALERT_FOR_SUB_ORGS component specifies whether or not a Change Alert is generated when a Data Source’s include sub-organizations attribute is changed.
GLOBAL_HOLD_REMINDER component
The GLOBAL_HOLD_REMINDER component configures aspects of the global hold reminder and controls access to the Admin > Global Hold Reminder module.
HOLD_NOTICE_APPROVAL_REQUIRED_ GLOBAL component (deprecated)
In versions of IBM Atlas Policy Suite prior to version 6, the HOLD_NOTICE_APPROVAL_REQUIRED_GLOBAL component controlled whether hold notice approval was mandatory. Beginning in version 6, the approval requirements for a hold notice are defined in the content template from which the notice is created.
HOLD_NOTICE_CONFIGURATION component
The HOLD_NOTICE_CONFIGURATION component specifies how hold notice content is presented in the IBM Atlas Policy Suite web client.
HOLD_RELEASE_CONFIGURATION component
The HOLD_RELEASE_CONFIGURATION component configures aspects of the custodian release notice.
INFORMATIONTYPE component
The INFORMATIONTYPE component provides options for the data source Information Type attribute. The attribute describes the permanence of the information that the Data Source typically contains. How you interpret the value is up to you.
INFOTYPE_AVAILABILITY component
The INFOTYPE_AVAILABILITY component defines options for the Local Schedules > Information Types > Availability attribute and valid values for the Info Type Availability column in Information Types CSV files.
INFOTYPE_CONFIDENTIALITY component
The INFOTYPE_CONFIDENTIALITY component defines options for the Local Schedules > Information Types > Confidentiality attribute and valid values for the Info Type Confidentiality column in Information Types CSV files.
INFOTYPE_INTEGRITY component
The INFOTYPE_INTEGRITY component defines options for the Local Schedules > Information Types > Integrity attribute and valid values for the Info Type Integrity column in Information Types CSV files.
INFOTYPE_PII component
The INFOTYPE_PII component defines options for the Local Schedules > Information Types > Privacy attribute and valid values for the Info Type PSI column in Information Types CSV files.
INFOTYPE_RISK component
The INFOTYPE_RISK component defines options for the Local Schedules > Information Types > Risk weight attribute and valid values for the Info Type Risk column in Information Types CSV files.
INTERVIEWER component
The INTERVIEWER component identifies those roles that can conduct interviews. Each parameter in the INTERVIEWER component identifies a role. A user that is assigned one of these roles is added to the Conducted By menu on the Matters > Interviews > Logs > Log Entry page (assuming that the user has access to the matter).
LDAP Server Template component
The LDAP Server Template component configures IBM Atlas Policy Suite to use LDAP for user authentication.
LEGACY_BEHAVIOR_CONFIGURATION component
The LEGACY_BEHAVIOR_CONFIGURATION component contains parameters that you can use to add custodians to published preservation plans that are on hold, send auto-reminder notices to recipients who respond within grace periods, check only the parent when you determine notice recipients, and show the historical content in Notice As Sent reports.
LEGAL ASSISTANT component
The LEGAL ASSISTANT component identifies those roles that can perform the duties of a legal assistant. Each parameter in the LEGAL ASSISTANT component identifies a role. A user that is assigned one of these roles can be designated as the paralegal for a matter.
LEGAL NOTICE APPROVER component
The LEGAL NOTICE APPROVER component specifies the Roles that can act as Notice and Plan Approvers. Users who are assigned one of these Roles are added to the Approvers tab of the Resource Chooser for Hold Notices, Collection Notices, Interview Plans, Preservation Plans, and Collection Plans.
LEGAL_POWER_USER component
The LEGAL_POWER_USER component identifies roles that have special privileges when creating legal objects and generating legal reports.
LOCAL_SCHEDULE_APPROVAL_RULES component
The LOCAL_SCHEDULE_APPROVAL_RULES component enables you to relax the approval rules for local schedules. By default, a Local Schedule cannot be approved (or routed for approval) unless it contains a Regulatory Retention Policy and a Data Source mapping for the Regulatory version of each of its information types.
LOGIN_MANAGEMENT component
The LOGIN_MANAGEMENT component contains parameters that establish rules for passwords that are created by users with the Change Password, Forgot Password?, and First Time? links on the login page of the IBM Atlas Policy Suite web client.
MAIL_DNS_LOOKUP component
The MAIL_DNS_LOOKUP component identifies the type of DNS resource record that IBM Atlas Policy Suite uses when it resolves the domain names of outbound email.
MAILSETTINGS component
The MAILSETTINGS component contains parameters that identify the servers within your company, set certain email system limits, and configure some legal notice and alert email attributes.
MANAGEDBY component
The MANAGEDBY component provides options for the Data Source Managed By attribute. The attribute is a general description of the entity that manages or controls the Data Source. How you interpret the value is up to you.
MATTER_EXCEPTIONS component
The MATTER_EXCEPTIONS component establishes rules that are used to raise matter-related exceptions.
MATTER_METRICS component
The MATTER_METRICS component configures the Matter Metrics engine.
MAX_QUESTIONNAIRE_RESPONSE_COUNT component
The search criteria on the Interview Results page includes an Answer field. Normally, the field is a dropdown menu that is populated with a list of unique responses that have been supplied by the interviewees, but if there are too many responses, the list can become difficult to navigate. The MAX_QUESTIONNAIRE_RESPONSE_COUNT component lets you define the value of too many. If the number of responses exceeds this limit, the Answer dropdown menu is replaced with an editable text field.
MEDIATYPES component
The MEDIATYPES component provides options for the data source Media Type attribute, which describes the medium that is used to store the data in a data source. How you interpret the value is up to you.
MY_TRANSACTIONS_DEFAULT_DATE_ SEARCH_INTERVAL component
The MY_TRANSACTIONS_DEFAULT_DATE_SEARCH_INTERVAL component sets the default Created/Updated time period that is used in the search panel on the My Tasks page. The To date is automatically populated with today’s date. The From date is calculated by subtracting the interval that is specified by this component's parameter from today's date.
NOTICE_FORWARD component
The NOTICE_FORWARD component configures the Forward-to link that is inserted at the end of each collection notice. By using the link, a recipient can forward the notice to another user (the recipient’s assistant, for example).
NOTICE_RECIPIENT_REMOVER component
The NOTICE_RECIPIENT_REMOVER component specifies the roles that can remove persons from the recipient lists of all holds and virtual interviews that they are currently part of.
OSA_ALLOW_OTHER_ORG_MEMBERSHIP_ EDIT component
The OSA_ALLOW_OTHER_ORG_MEMBERSHIP_EDIT component determines whether an Organization System Administrator (OSA) is allowed to edit a person who is a member (a person without a role) of an organization that is in a branch of the organization hierarchy that is not under the control of the OSA.
PA_CONFIGURATION component
The PA_CONFIGURATION component parameters specify the location of IBM Atlas Policy Suite log files and enable various portals and tools.
PA_DATA_INTEGRITY component
The PA_DATA_INTEGRITY component contains a parameter that checks the integrity of various data objects.
PAGECOUNT component
The PAGECOUNT component specifies the typical number of pages per megabyte for a variety of file types. These numbers are used to estimate the number of pages that are contained in files that are collected as part of a legal matter. The page count is presented on a matter’s Documents page.
PERFORMANCE component
With the PERFORMANCE component, you can fine-tune the performance of certain timer tasks (NoticeSend and SendReminderNotice) by spooling large query results to temporary storage on disk. Spooling to disk instead of holding the results in memory can reduce out of memory errors. With the default settings, when you send email notices to more than 10,000 recipients, you see temporarily files in the \MailSettings.TEMPFILEPATH directory. These files are cleaned up automatically. If you disable the spooling, ensure that the Java heap memory size for your application server is sufficient.
PERSON_CHANGE_ALERT_FIELDS component
The PERSON_CHANGE_ALERT_FIELDS component specifies whether a change to a person attribute triggers a change alert message. Each parameter takes its key from the person attribute that it represents, using the label that presents the attribute on the Admin > Persons page.
PERSON_CONFIGURATION component
The PERSON_CONFIGURATION component lets you fine-tune the way that person accounts are managed and displayed.
PERSON_DATA_PRIVACY_CONTROL component
The PERSON_DATA_PRIVACY_CONTROL component defines the users who can view the custom fields that are attached to a person account.
POLICY_SYNDICATION component
Use the POLICY_SYNDICATION component to configure retention policy syndication.
PORTAL_CONFIGURATION component
The PORTAL_CONFIGURATION component determines whether the Matter ID links in the Data Sources and Person modules are live.
PSTINTEGRATION component
The PSTINTEGRATION component contains settings that are used by PST Extractor. This application extracts email messages from Microsoft Outlook email archives (PST files) and extracts attachments from individual Microsoft Outlook email files (MSG files) that were uploaded to IBM Atlas Policy Suite as part of a legal collection. The extracted files can then be indexed by the Atlas database, making it possible for users to perform searches on the contents of the messages.
QUESTIONNAIRE_SET component
The QUESTIONNAIRE_SET component defines generic text for common elements of hold notice questionnaires.
READ_ONLY_MATTER_FIELDS component
You can configure the READ_ONLY_MATTER_FIELDS component to specify matter attributes as read-only or as editable. This component applies only to matters that were created by Atlas Extensions, not matters that were created with the IBM Atlas Policy Suite web client. Making certain attributes read-only for IBM Atlas Policy Suite web client users ensures that the data in IBM Atlas Policy Suite stays synchronized with the original data.
RECORDS CO-ORDINATOR component
The RECORDS CO-ORDINATOR component specifies the Roles that can act as Records Coordinators for Local Schedules and Projects.
REFERER_WHITE_LIST component
Use the REFERER_WHITE_LIST component to allow or reject unexpected referer headers in HTTP messages that are handled by Atlas Policy Suite.
REPORTING component
The REPORTING component contains parameters that tell IBM Atlas Policy Suite how to find Atlas Reports.
REQUEST SCOPE PERSON IMPORT component
The REQUEST SCOPE PERSON IMPORT component enables and disables the ability to import People in Scope CSV files.
RESOURCETYPE component
The RESOURCETYPE component provides options for the Resource Type attribute that is presented when you add an entry to a collection log. The attribute describes the permanence of the information that the data source typically contains. How you interpret the value is up to you.
RETENTIONTYPES component
A retention type sets the nature of the amount of time that a record must be retained. The RETENTIONTYPES component provides options for the Retention Type menu that is part of the Retention Schedule for Master and Local Schedules, and that is also used in the Retention Requirements section for Citations.
ROLE_USEDIN_ORG_WITH_OUT_MEMBERS component
The Organization Without Members Report generates an exploded tree view of your organization hierarchy, and marks, in red, the rogue organizations. These organizations do not have any users (persons who are given roles in that organization). It also prints the name and email address of a user in the rogue organization’s parent (or nearest ancestor) who is considered responsible for correcting the rogue organizations. The contact is a user who has a role (in the ancestor organization) that is listed in this component.
SCHEDULE_CONFIGURATION component
The SCHEDULE_CONFIGURATION component specifies whether a new Local Schedule can be based on a Master Schedule or a Record Class, or if it can only be based on a Master Schedule.
SECURITYLEVEL component
The SECURITYLEVEL component provides options for the data source Security Level attribute. The attribute gauges the sensitivity of the information that data source typically contains. How you interpret the value is up to you.
TIMER-CONFIGURATION component
The TIMER-CONFIGURATION component configures the timer task watchdog. The watchdog is a task that monitors the timer task framework to ensure that it is still running.
TIMEUNITS component
The TIMEUNITS component specifies the options that populate the various time unit dropdown menus.
TRANSACTION_WORK_ASSIGNOR component
The TRANSACTION_WORK_ASSIGNOR component specifies the roles that can assign ownership of a structured preservation or collection plan.
TRUNCATE_FILENAME_DURING_EXPORT component
The TRUNCATE_FILENAME_DURING_EXPORT component provides rules for modifying the names of files that are exported from IBM Atlas Policy Suite. File name truncation can help you avoid overly-long path names and illegal characters that might be generated when collected files are exported.
UI_SETTINGS component
The UI_SETTINGS component controls aspects of the Atlas web client.
USSTATES component
The USSTATES component provides options that represent the 50 US states, the District of Columbia, and the six outlying territories. These options are presented in a number of dropdown menus throughout the IBM Atlas Policy Suite web client.
VIRTUAL_INTERVIEW_CONFIGURATION component
The VIRTUAL_INTERVIEW_CONFIGURATION component configures various aspects of a virtual interview.
VIRTUAL_INTERVIEW_RESPONSE_ AUTHENTICATION component
The VIRTUAL_INTERVIEW_RESPONSE_AUTHENTICATION component specifies whether a user must be authenticated in order to submit a response to a virtual interview (including Holds + VI).
WEB_NOTICE_RESPONSE_MANDATORY component
The WEB_NOTICE_RESPONSE_MANDATORY component specifies how a hold notice recipient can respond to the notice.
