Creating, updating, and deleting the bound entity

An agent can manage the lifecycle of its bound entity by writing rules that create, update, and delete the entity.

For example, in a bank account use case, an account agent can govern the lifecycle of its account entity. The account agent listens for an account opening event, and for an account closure event. The lifecycle of the entity starts when the account opening event is received and ends with the account closure event. When the agent receives the account opening event, the agent creates the account entity with the entity ID that is contained in the event, and the attributes that you specify in the rule.

Note: You can also create, update, and delete the bound entity by using the REST or Java™ API.
