Restore prerequisite tasks

For some services, you must complete prerequisite tasks before you can restore an IBM® Cloud Pak for Data deployment with the OpenShift® APIs for Data Protection (OADP) backup and restore utility.

Node configurations

The Cloud Pak for Data OADP backup and restore utility does not back up and restore node configurations. If node settings in the source cluster were adjusted for a service, you must make the same adjustments in the target cluster. For more information about changing node settings, see Changing required node settings.
