Creating a subclass

When you create a subclass, you can customize class behavior by adding properties to the properties already in the superclass.

To create and customize a subclass:

1. Start the Create Class wizard in the administration console:
   1. In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
   2. In the object store navigation pane, click the Data Design > Classes folder.
   3. Right-click the class that you want to add a subclass to and click New Class.
2. Complete the wizard and open the new class.
3. In the Property Definitions tab, add or modify property definitions. In the other tabs, further customize the class as needed.
