Workload management initiates
a refresh when one of the following changes are made to the
application
environment definition
and activated:
- The JCL procedure name is changed.
- The application
environment is
switched to automatic control, that is, the JCL procedure name was
previously left blank, but now one is provided.
- The server start parameters are changed.
- The limit on server address spaces is changed, for example, from
“Managed by WLM” to “Limited to a single address space per system”.
If an application
environment is
deleted from the service definition, it enters the DELETING state.
After workload management requests
the termination of all associated servers, the application
environment is
no longer displayed at all by the DISPLAY WLM,APPLENV or DISPLAY
WLM,DYNAPPLENV command.
