System logger services will be unavailable until the system logger address space is restarted. If the system logger address space unexpectedly terminated, system logger will attempt to automatically restart. If the restart attempt is successful, message IXG058 will be DOMed. If system logger is unable to restart automatically, see message IXG056I and message IXG067E for further assistance.

If you require the system logger services, restart the address space through the "S IXGLOGRS" command. Look for the cause of the problem by checking for other system messages or dumps issued at the time that system logger terminated.
