- The time in hours (00–23), minutes (00–59), and seconds
(00–59). If the time-of-day clock is not working, hh.mm.ss appears
as "00.00.00".
- urid
- The identifier of the unit of recovery.
- status
- The status of the current unit of recovery within the job, or
blank if there is no current unit of recovery. The status can be any
of the following values:
- In-flight
- In-prepare
- In-commit
- In-backout
- Indoubt
- Shunted
- cause
- One of the following values:
- C-FAILED: A commit failed.
- B-FAILED: A backout failed.
- IO-ERROR: An I/O error occurred on the data set.
- DS-FULL: The data set was full; no space was available on a direct
access storage device (DASD) to add records.
- IX-FULL: A larger alternate index is required.
- LOCK: A failure occurred during an attempt to obtain a lock during
backout, or DFSMStvs detected that a data set has active log records
but no locks. This can occur if a data set that has retained locks
is deleted.
- LOG: A log stream became or was made unavailable.
- CACHE: A cache structure or connection to it failed.
- sysname
- The name of the system in the sysplex on which the shunted unit
of recovery exists.
- sphere
- The name of the sphere set with shunted log records.
- jobname
- The name of the job.
- stepname
- The name of the step within the job.

Correct the problem that caused the
entry or entries to become shunted. Then use the access method services
(IDCAMS) SHCDS PURGE or RETRY command to resolve the shunted entry
or entries. If the problem is that a data set has active log records
but not locks, the outstanding recovery must be purged.
