Explanation
During system initialization, the system found
that a volume was mounted on a device other than the device requested.
If
the device is a tape unit, the volume is write-protected or contains
a standard IBM® tape label.
In
the message text:
- dev
- The device number.
- ser
- The serial number of the volume that was mounted incorrectly.
System action
The system issues message IEA315A.
Operator response
Do the following:
- Demount the specified volume.
- Ensure that the proper volume is mounted on the specified device.
- Ensure that the volume is initialized with the proper volume serial
number.
